Teacher Frances graduated cum laude from the University of the Philippines, Diliman, with a Bachelor’s Degree in Family Life and Child Development. She continued her studies and completed her master’s degree in Early Childhood Special Education from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas.


Teacher Frances started her career as a toddler teacher for HeadStart Community at Las Vegas, Nevada. There she has grown her career and moved her way up to become a Disability Coordinator, and finally a Mental Health Coordinator.


With her learnings from her experiences, Teacher Frances dreamt of building a diverse and inclusive community in her hometown, Angeles City, Philippines. With this dream, she left the United States and started an inclusive school that provides learning opportunities to children with all abilities, the Hand Prints School of Progressive Education in 2008.

Frances also shares her knowledge and experience as a part-time professor and a speaker. In addition, she is a member of the Autism Society of the Philippines, and the Association of Private Schools in Angeles City.
